 Salvia divinorum is traditionally used by chewing pairs of leaves. Modern use includes both smoking and chewing the leaves. With our quality leaves you can use them for a quid. They are whole and unbroken without stems. All you have to do to make a quid is to take some of the whole leaves and soak them lightly in water for about an hour. After rehydrating just roll up about 10 of them and place them between your cheek and gum. When the leaves are chewed or exchange with your saliva, the quid and bitter juice are held in the mouth to increase absorption. Do this for about 15-30 minutes and do not swallow. Then spit them out.
Strong effects can be difficult to attain from smoking dried leaf, but extracts and these potency-bred leaves can cause dramatic, sometimes frightening, and completely enfolding entheogenic mind-states.
